as you may know, ironman came out today on dvd and blu ray. so i went down to bestbuy to pick up the blu ray "ultimate 2-disc edition"... as opposed to the "not so ultimate, regular 2-disc edition?"

well i put the blu ray disc in, and its been sitting at this screen for the last 10 minutes. i've restarted my ps3 and everything..even had time to take a picture and blog this. wtf. this is ultimate

update: normal screen just came on. i guess it was automatically downloading some BD Live shit. well it would be nice if there was some sort of message that told me so! what about the normal people who wouldn't leave it on for 10+ minutes like idiots such as myself?

maiden noir fall 2008

maiden noir is a clothing brand based out of seattle and has quickly made it to the top of my favorites list in the past couple years. their quality over quantity approach makes their supply limited to only a few stockists and it is very apparent when wearing any of their pieces.

i dont wear these (and never have).. so i dont really have a reason to keep em. they are called the airmax 95 "tinman" and were the only ones produced. not only are they unique in the sense that they are a one-of-a-kind.. but nike also created a laser etched wooden box to encase them in.

Abandoned WA Part 2: Military Site

Kept up our exploration of abandoned Washington sites. During the Cold War era, our Military made a bunch of secret NIKE Missile Silo Sites. Barto, Nas, Gabe, Renee, and Myself discovered the remains of one of these sites out in the sticks of the east side and successfully got inside to shoot/document it.

I'm more excited to see the 3 rolls of Medium Format film I shot inside but here are some of my favorites from my digital camera.

End of summer/Beginning of school

So tomorrow kicks off my senior year at UW Tacoma. And man am I dreading it! Long days are ahead of me and many mornings of sleepiness in class. I try to stay up but this nigga right here can't keep his eyes open! Luckily I have my laptizzle to keep me awake for a little bit before I doze off. Now I'd like to somewhat reminice about this past summer.

Ain't really do much this year. The farthest I traveled was Seattle. Got to camp out for some really cool shoes with my buddy Jonas. Kicked it up north and met a lot of new people. Thanks for making my time up there great this summer people. That last line sounds like a farewell/suicice note. Sorry. But I'm going to cut it short now since I need to get my beauty rest. The Flour Mill

Upon remembering how much my Highschool friends and I used to love checking out weird/abandoned places, I started researching online this week for new places to hit up and photograph. Today; Gabe, Barto, and myself went on quite the adventure. Sneaking our way into and photographing a fenced off, patrolled but abandoned Flour Mill right in our own backyard. We had some sketchy moments and scares but everyone came out ok, and the photos were totally worth the risks.
