2010 nba all-star game

the nba has announced that the 2010 nba all-star game will be held in the soon-to-be-completed cowboy stadium. the stadium is capable of seating over 100,000 people, which would crush the previous nba all-star game record crowd of 44,735 people.

The Italian Job: mmmm not so much.

A drunken college student in the U.K. tried to recreate a scene from "The Italian Job" Sunday by driving a Mini up a flight of steps — but he wasn't nearly as successful.

The Bristol University student climbed into his brand new, $16,000 car to attempt the stunt from the 1969 movie in which crooks drive down church steps in a getaway scene.

But he wound up crashing the silver vehicle, given to him the day before by his wealthy parents.

After the stunt, the car's radiator blew up, the two front tires burst and both airbags exploded.

Six security guards, two police cars and a helicopter scrambled to arrest the 18-year-old. A second student escaped from the car at Bristol University’s Wills Hall.

Earlier, the pair had roared around the halls of the school at up to 40 mph, shrieking with laughter in a 20-minute rampage over pavements and lawns. They woke other students who were furious.

“He made himself look an idiot," one student said. "His parents had faces like thunder. Most people would love a car like that.”

The teen, who was not identified, was charged with drunken driving and spent the night in jail.

if you are from the renton/skyway area, you would know about the mcdonalds that burnt down a while back. over the past year or so, they have been slow to re-build my favorite nugget haven. i would drive along rainier ave and see little to no progress for the greater portion of this year. however, over recent months i have seen great improvements and vowed to take pictures of the progress as my excitement built.

well tonight was the night that i finally went over to take pictures and, to my delight, discovered that it was actually finished! bigger and badder than ever biotch!

i almost killed myself at work today. well not really... but basically. i was using this hook tool trying to pry a clamp free.


well i was tugging at it and the clamp finally gave way and i nearly stabbed myself in the eye with the hook tool. good thing i only stabbed myself in the eyebrow. freaked me the fuck out though. you can see the tiny stab wound below my left eyebrow (your right).
