if you didnt know, october is breast cancer awareness month. i sure as hell didnt know, but was invited to join A Walk For Breast Cancer this past sunday. i've never done anything like this before (shame on me), so i decided to go ahead and do it. that and the fact that all sorts of cancer are a huge deal to many people, so why not?


the walk started at 8:30 a.m. at the Downtown Park in bellevue


it was hard to tell, but i would guestimate that probably about 20,000 people braved the northwests elements to support the cause.
